I have just returned from a wonderful week's holiday in the Lake District. I went on numerous walks and trips and many of them seemed to involve the Langdale Pikes. This wasn't always intentional but sometimes when I was passing by the light was so lovely that I would have to stop to record it. The other factor is that I need no excuse to admire the pikes as that iconic profile is my favourite view in the Lake District. No matter what the weather they reflect it's mood and atmosphere whilst still dominating the landscape.
