I am currently leading a project at York Photographic Society titled "Seaside" which started off as being a generic topic. However, after going on a boat trip to photograph gannets I decided that it would be a good idea to focus on one seaside town and capture the different aspects of it. Consequently I chose Bridlington as it has lots of places to explore and photograph. Obviously one of the topics we wanted to shoot is the beach.
On Monday 24 August we arrived in Bridlington to be greeted by lovely sunshine with a forecast of cloud and rain later in the day. This gradually faded during the morning to be replaced by a sea fog which surrounded the beach and all the holiday makers. It was absolutely glorious and obviously we took some photographs of it.
