Scotland and the Outer Hebrides

I love travelling to Scotland and have recently tried to visit at least once a year. This gallery includes photographs from my trips to the Highlands, Outer Hebrides and the few days that I've been to Skye.

In 2018 I travelled to Arran for a wonderful week exploring the “mini Scotland” and it is definitely somewhere I will revisit. I have also just returned from a wonderful week on the Isle of Harris where I spent my days wandering along the beaches admiring the waves and the light.

I have now visited the Isle of Harris three times and each time I have discovered new locations offering the opportunity for photography including spectacular waves, sand shapes and water rolling around splendid black rocks. It is a wonderful place and well worth the long journey from York.
