On my recent holiday based in Kettlewell I visited a couple of waterfalls. I have been to Cauldron Force many times at different times of the year but for the first time I went to Aysgill Force which is situated about half a mile up Gayle Beck. I also discovered Aysgill Force which is about half a mile upstream from the village of Gayle.

Wensleydale Waterfalls
The rain was trapped in Wharfedale and our plans to enjoy some photography were thwarted until we drove over the hill into Bishopdale and Wensleydale where it was dry and relatively sunny.
Sara and I have communicated quite a few times on Twitter so it was lovely to actually meet up and go out in her territory together.
West Burton Waterfall
Thursday promised to be a splendid day and so I headed off the Wensleydale to wander around the waterfalls of Aysgarth and West Burton.
Kettlewell, Yorkshire Dales - Day 2
Everything was dried out after Saturday's extended paddling so I set off on Sunday to meet the rest of the group for a day's shoot with David Speight et al. Our first port of call was the limestone pavement at the top of Conistone where we were going to explore the views and features

Today I joined up again with Tom Marsh and his Yorkshire Photo Walks group for a wander around the lower reaches of Wensleydale and West Burton.
