Part of our trip around the Italian Lakes involved a visit to Zermatt and the Matterhorn. The coach took us over the Simplon Pass which was very exciting as there had been a fall of snow overnight. There is a restaurant at the summit where we took a pit stop. However, I togged up and spent 20 minutes running around admiring the views and trying to capture the details in the mountains.
