York Residents’ Festival is our chance to explore the city and be a tourist for the weekend – for free! It is organised by Visit York in partnership with the City of York Council, this annual Festival is their way of saying ‘thank you’ for the warm welcome given to York’s 7 million visitors.
I have missed the past few events as I've been away from the city but I decided that this year I would make the most of the opportunity and go to a few of my favourite spots: the Mansion House, York Minster and the Tower and then Holy Trinity Church in Goodramgate. Fabulous!
