Whilst I love being in the hills and mountains I also adore sitting alongside the sea or any water listening to the waves washing relentlessly against the shore. I find it very relaxing. I have already posted my favourite mountain photographs but we also spent time on the Ardnamurchan Peninsula at Ardtoe and Castle Tioram.
The highlight of the holiday was a seaplane flight from Loch Lomond over the Western Islands. The weather conditions for this were perfect as it was really clear but there were also some fabulous clouds in the glens.
