A few weeks ago I booked myself on a last minute break to the Peak District and took full advantage of the change in the clock back to GMT. I had enjoyed a day's photography in the Hope Valley in the New Year and I decided that the area was well worth a further visit.
On the first two evenings I drove to Millstone Edge and to Higger Tor and thoroughly enjoyed the light shows that were on display. The area is a magnet for photographers and it was quite difficult to find a location and an angle that was free from bodies and tripods.
My shoot at Millstone Edge was seriously enhance by the brief storm that swept down the Hope Valley. Not only did the light constantly change but the rain made it incredibly intense. It was well worth the soaking!
