I have been recently been asked to take part in a virtual interview for the Friends of York Art Gallery. As the gallery has been closed for a few months the organisers have devised several ways to keep the 800 members of the Friends engaged over this period when face to face activities cannot take place. One of the activities involves speaking to artists about their work and I was selected to represent local photographers.
I answered questions about my photographic practices, my influences and what I’ve been working on recently, especially during these dark Covid days. I hope that you enjoy reading it. It was interesting for me to put together as the questions made me think about what I’ve been doing and how I approach my coastal photography.
