I realised that I hadn't visited the Yorkshire Dales in over a year which is a scandal now that I have so much on my hands! I decided to drive to Kettlewell where there are so many walks and I could make my final choice when I arrived. I remember wading along the rive path on my last visit so I gave that a miss and walked on the raised path on the east side of the valley up to Starbotton and after crossing the bridge I walked up the side of the valley, through Fosse Wood and along the top of the ridge past Moor End Farm.
It is one of my favourite walks as the views are splendid throughout and there is also a wonderful rock at the top of the valley where I can enjoy a picnic. Heaven!
