#Sheclicks is a social media group on Facebook for female photographers originally set up by Angela Nicholson. It has a friendly, informative vibe where we can seek advice or just chat with like-minded people. It's open to anyone who is interested in photography in any form. In addition there are meets organised so that we can take part in shoots and get to know each other face to face.
This week Dianne Seddon organised a trip to the RSPB centre at Bempton Cliffs and about 7 of us attended. My plan was to photograph gannets as my 200mm zoom lens would have a fighting chance of capturing them at a decent size. I was also VERY interested in locating puffins and I did see a few. However, most of the little blighters were hiding in cliff crevices so I didn't get a sniff of a photo. *sobs*. There was a kind gentleman who kept pointing them out to me but as he was 6' 6" and I'm 5' 3" it wasn't at all successful as they were all out of range to me. Anyway I did find a spot where the gannets were swooping and entertaining the few of us that were out in the rain. It was here that I managed a few photos......
